As a Democratic Candidate for Hays County Clerk, I am dedicated to serving our community with proven experience and genuine heart. My career in public service and commitment to fairness drive my passion for this role.

As part of the current leadership team in the Hays County Clerk's Office I intend to continue building on the significant progress already underway to modernize the County Clerk's Office, ensuring it's accessible, efficient and ready to serve a growing Hays County.

As a Veteran with 30 years U.S. Army Service and 25 years as a senior Federal Civil Servant, I bring the discipline, dedication, and strategic vision needed to serve Hays County effectively.

Since 2021, I have been proud to serve as Chief of Staff/Deputy Director of the Hays County Clerk’s Office, working alongside County Clerk Elaine Cardenas, MBA, PhD, to ensure transparent, efficient, and trustworthy local government operations.

Beyond my professional career, I am deeply invested in our community. I have led two local non-profits ; Imagine Wimberley and the Katherine Anne Porter School. I currently serve on the board of the Wimberley Players, helping to strengthen the cultural fabric of our area.

My extensive leadership experience has equipped me with the skills to plan strategically, manage resources responsibly, and get results. 

I have a Bachelor of Science in Adult Education with a specialization in Workforce Development from Southern Illinois University at Carbondale.
